The message of the gospel is one of those messages that can be expressed in so many different ways and it benefits from all this diversity. But if I had only one sentence available, how would I express it?
Hmmmm. Tricky. OK. Here is a first attempt.
God has acted in Jesus the Messiah—through his incarnate life, death, resurrection, and ascension—to set the world right and to bring creation to its intended destiny.
If you had one sentence, how would you express the gospel?

God wants to fill this world with joy, yet every day we mess up, so that the world is not filled with joy; but God says, If you follow Jesus, I will begin to restore joy to your life, and through you I will work to bring joy to the world.
[You didn’t say anything about “no semicolons.”]

This is a pretty good one-sentence gospel message:

The incredibly great news that God loves the world so deeply that he came in Jesus Christ to rescue the world once and for all from sin and shame and death and to restore the world to life with Him today and forever.

“Jesus was and is Almighty God. He proved it by performing countless healings, signs and wonders and ultimately proving his authority, by raising himself from the dead.”
